As Ardross Distillery in Inverness gears up to opening later in 2019, specialist joinery company, SD Manufacturing, recently custom manufactured two stunning new control desks, in collaboration with their long standing and valued client Platform Interior Solutions
Designed to emulate the distillery environment, the two desks have been designed with a barrel theme using Douglas Fir slatted fronts, polished copper plated top panels and brass banding detail to the desk fronts . A solid oak hardwood worktop, with a contrasting spray painted carcass to the rear, finishes off the practical working area of the desks. Highlighting the beauty of the Douglas Fir fronts, SD Manufacturing used a hand applied Danish oil process to enhance the natural grain of the wood.
