Scotland’s leading bespoke joinery and custom manufacturing company, SD Manufacturing Ltd, used their creative ingenuity to design this stunning wine cellar rack system on behalf of a private client.
The wine cellar rack system was a bespoke piece as part of a larger project commissioned by the client to design and install a range of custom manufactured domestic furniture items.
Using solid oak harwood with an antique patina finish to reflect a vintage appearance, SD Manufacturing created a wine storage rack system with feature display boxes and LED mood lighting which has been used to optimum effect to highlight the owner’s extensive wine collection. Within the wine racks, SD Manufacturing custom manufactured curve feature pelmets using old whisky barrel staves which serve as support shelving for some of the collection.
SD Manufacturing also created the bespoke whisky barrel bar with LED lighting and glass shelving, creating a tasting area in this unique cellar space.
